I can’t stress this enough, reading greatly helps your writing. It inspires ideas, plots, endings, beginnings, and characters. Your vocabulary gets bigger. You understand more. Your capable of interpreting bigger words.
Is there a word in a book you don't understand? Reading will resolve that. I even read articles. I apply those articles to my editing stage of my book. Example: https://www.standoutbooks.com/avoid-head-hopping/ Whether it's a short story or novel
It’s easy for me because I love reading. Finding the time is my issue. Especially now since kids are home and I have to be the teacher. But I still get in time to read and write
